Every time I cross paths with Dr Leon Stensholm, I walk away feeling uplifted, energised, and reminded of the power of purpose‑driven work. Last week was no exception. I had the privilege of attending the launch of his fourth book, We Got WiFi, But No Connection - a title that captures, with striking accuracy, the disconnection so many people are experiencing in our fast‑paced, hyper‑digital world.

Being invited to contribute the endorsement for this book was an honour in itself, but witnessing the launch in person was something truly special. The event was held at Leon’s outstanding Youth Centre, Lookout07, and the turnout was extraordinary. The room was filled with community members, supporters, and young people whose lives have been touched by Leon’s work. The atmosphere carried a sense of hope, connection, and genuine appreciation for the impact he continues to make.

Leon’s commitment to supporting youth, families, and the broader community is evident in everything he does - and this book is no exception. We Got WiFi, But No Connection is a powerful, timely read that invites us to reflect on what it really means to connect, to belong, and to be human in an increasingly disconnected world.

Congratulations, Dr Leon, on yet another remarkable achievement. Your work continues to inspire so many, myself included.
